1. General Condition Chisso was expecting a petrochemical business long time. But, It became a long-term recession because of an excessive supply. The achievement of Chisso in fiscal year 1971 was severe, regardless of amends money of the Minamata disease. The manager declared that he aimed at the except of petrochemistry. The decision of the Kumamoto district court became a lost case of Chisso in March, 1973. Minamata disease amends money of Chisso has increasingly grown. The bank such as The Nihon Kogyo Bank did the support measures. The explosion accident of the Goi factory happened in October, 1973. By this chance, Chisso succeeded in receiving the support measures of the government. |
