My three books on the motion pictures are as follows: Sukuriin de Tabisuru America [Traveling America through the Hollywood Movies], Sukuriin ni Miru Kokujin-Josei [African American Women through Motion Pictures] and Sukuriin ni Toeisareru America [Thinking about post 9.11 World through the Hollywood Movies]. By writing these three books, I wanted to make American society clear. From historical point of view, I tried to read the movies. Some important keywords in order to read American society, so called, race, ethnicity, religion, gender and so on, were used in my books. |
